Few places in the world can match the natural beauty and low-key character of the Maine coast. The area around the Four Acres Cottages is particularly special. Powdery white sand beaches, picturesque port towns, delicious restaurants (see some suggestions at the bottom of this page), terrific shopping, and down-to-earth people. Life moves at a slower, friendlier pace around here. We’re sure glad it does. And so is everyone who comes to visit—again and again and again.
